Market-research firm Canalys’ latest quarterly report on the global smartphone market is in. Based on the preliminary estimates for the first quarter of 2022, Samsung remained king of the hill, with a 24% share of the worldwide market, while the rest of the top five were composed of the same brands, in the same order as last year’s January to March ranking.
