FTER being out of the spotlight for quite some time, Chinese phone-maker Meizu is once again drawing interest from the international tech community after launching the Meizu Pro 7 (click this for the full specs) and the Meizu Pro 7 Plus (click this for the complete specs) smartphones with a pair of touchscreens. There’s one on the front and another one on the back, unlike the LG V20 and other models with ticker-type displays above their screens.
Xiaomi Mi 5X gets same dual cams as Mi 6 at almost half the cost
O surprises here. The Xiaomi Mi 5X smartphone (click for complete specs) was unveiled today in China. While the 5X is positioned as a midrange option, it doesn’t appear to have stopped the company’s engineers from drawing up a premium-looking device with a big screen and the same dual-camera system found on the flagship Mi 6.
Nokia 8 expected to launch at HMD Global’s August 16 event
IRCLE those calendars, Nokia fans. The Nokia 8, the brand’s first flagship phone in three years, is expected to debut on August 16 at an event in London. HMD Global, which owns the rights to the Nokia brand for use on its handsets, has already sent out invites to the media.
