New leaks reveal new information about the device. According to Roland Quant of German tech site WinFuture, the Nokia 2 has a 4,000mAh battery. Whew. That’s bigger than those of the 2017 stable of Nokia smartphones that came before it — the Nokia 8, 6, 5, and 3. The first three are each packing a 3,000mAh cell, while the Nokia 3 features a 2,630mAh battery.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 is said to power the Nokia 2. Now, that’s not a powerful chip, considering that its maximum clock speed is only 1.1Ghz. So don’t expect the 210 to consumer a lot of power.

If you put the rumored small, 4.7-inch HD screen into the equation, this could mean that the handset will last for at least two days — perfect for those who are always on the move but are not exactly power users.
Another leak comes courtesy of VentureBeat reporter Evan Blass, who tweeted alleged press renders of the Nokia 2. Look.
Is this really the white Nokia 2 variant?
A black variant of the Nokia 2 this time.
Based on the two images, it seems that the Nokia 2 is running stock Android, just like the other smartphones HMD Global launched this year. It’s expected to sit at the bottom of the Nokia hierarchy, so we’re not surprised that it doesn’t have a dual-camera system and appears to be made of plastic.
A previous Geekbench leak, on the other hand, points to a phone that only has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Again, not surprising.

We have no idea about the Nokia 2’s price yet, but if you look at everything that has been revealed thus far and the fact that the Nokia 3 costs P6,990 (roughly $136) in the Philippines, we may be looking at a smartphone that will sell for around P5,000 ($97).
