If the leaked image is the real deal, then French designer Philippe Starck’s original concept of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has obviously changed. Whether that’s because the company thinks the best place to put the selfie camera is still at the top remains to be seen.
Another photo that has recently surfaced is one that shows the supposed specs of the device. Instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, a Snapdragon 836 processor is now believed to power the Mi MIX 2. Other specs that the second MIX reportedly features are the following: a 4400mAh battery, a 6.2-inch display with 2960×1440-pixel resolution, Android 8.0 Oreo with MUIU 9 on top, and a whopping 256GB of internal storage.
Anyhow, we’re just nine days away from the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 launch. We’ll know by then if the most recent leaks are legit.
