As you may have guessed from the word “Note” in its name, the device gets a huge 1080p screen measuring 5.5 inches. And it gets an equally big, 4,000mAh non-removable battery — the same-capacity cell that can be found on the K6 Power.

Take note that the Lenovo K6 Note is not a high-end phone; it is powered by Qualcomm’s mid-tier Snapdragon 430 chipset, so don’t expect too much from it. Internal storage is set at 32GB, though as with most handsets’ ROM these days, you can expand it using a microSD card. For RAM, you have a choice between 3GB and 4GB.
A 16-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus takes care of your mobile-photography needs, and an 8-megapixel front camera is in charge when you want to take selfies.
If you’re familiar with the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max’s 5.5-inch variant, you’d recognize that the specs of the Taiwanese manufacturer’s product are almost similar to the Lenovo K6 Note’s.
The two devices are even in the same price range. The ZenFone’s 3GB model costs P10,995 (roughly $219) P9,995 (or roughly $199, based on its recent price drop) in the Philippines. The K6 Note, on the other hand, starts from 13,999 rupees (approximately P10,500 or $210) in India, so it should probably sell for around that price when it arrives in the country.

Which is great for us consumers. At least, we’ll have more choices in that category.
