vivo has officially brought its camera-focused V50 Lite series to the Philippines, adding two new smartphones to the brand’s camera-focused lineup.
As mentioned earlier in our preview, the vivo V50 Lite arrives in both 4G and 5G versions, largely identical visually but with a few key hardware differences. In the Philippines, the vivo V50 Lite 5G starts at P16,999 (roughly $298) for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage configuration, climbing to P19,999 ($351) for the 12GB/512GB model. The vivo V50 Lite 4G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage, positioned as the most affordable option locally, is priced at P13,999 ($246).
For those looking to spread out payments, BillEase offers 0% interest financing for up to six months on all V50 Lite models, bringing the monthly cost down to as low as P2,334 ($41) for the 4G version.
Regardless of which version you opt for, your color options are Titanium Gold, Phantom Black, and Fantasy Purple. Preorders are open nationwide in the Philippines until April 25, with early adopters receiving a bundle of extras: a limited-edition vivo Buds, a vivo VIP card providing a five-year standard warranty plus a six-month extension, and a P1,000 ($18) discount.

Highlighting the internals, the most significant spec here is arguably the massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. The company claims it can last up to five years under normal use, positioning it as one of the most enduring batteries on the market. This capacity should translate to days, not just hours, between charges. Adding to its appeal, the vivo V50 Lite supports up to 90-watt wired fast charging, allowing for a 50% charge in a mere 20 minutes.
Durability is also a key aspect, with the phone boasting an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance Certification and a Comprehensive Cushioning Structure that reportedly improves drop resistance by 20%. The vivo V50 Lite also carries IP65 and IP69 certifications, providing resistance against dust, rain, and even hot water splashes.
Inside, the 5G version is driven by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. The vivo V50 Lite 4G, however, relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685, the same silicon found in last year’s iteration. That said, if you’re looking to run more demanding games on your device and 5G is available in your area, it might be a good idea to spend extra for the Dimensity 6300.
