TECNO has done it again, offering something new even to the entry-level category.
The Transsion Holdings brand has unveiled the TECNO SPARK Slim at MWC 2025 here in Barcelona, Spain, and it’s turning heads for the right reasons. At just 5.75mm thin, it is the world’s slimmest smartphone with a 5,200mAh battery — one that supports 45-watt fast charging. Although it’s currently a concept device, we might see it hitting the market in the near future.
The SPARK Slim reminds us of Google Pixel phones. That’s not to say the design isn’t something to marvel at — in fact, it’s the opposite. Crafted from fully recycled aluminum using an integrated die-casting process and a stainless steel unibody, the TECNO SPARK Slim feels luxurious yet eco-friendly. It’s ergonomic, lightweight, and sports a light band that dances with every notification.

A quick look at the TECNO SPARK Slim here at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain
Up front is a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display that offers 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, squinting at your screen under the blazing sun might just become a thing of the past.
TECNO didn’t reveal the processor that powers the actual units on display at its booth in Fira Gran Via, but the company did say it’s an octa-core chipset.
Photography enthusiasts might appreciate the dual 50-megapixel cameras that TECNO has outfitted the SPARK Slim with. There’s also a 13-megapixel front camera designed to make your selfies always on point. The dynamic light-band effect adds an extra dash of style to your pictures.
In summary, the TECNO SPARK Slim isn’t just another pretty face in the smartphone world. It’s a harmonious blend of cutting-edge technology, sustainable materials, and jaw-droppingly thin design. We can’t wait to see this model released in the Philippines.
