“Pinas lang ang malakas!” — a sentence that translates to “Only the Philippines is strong!” — rings truer than ever.
Fnatic ONIC PH’s dominant victory at the M6 World Championship has once again cemented the Philippines’ position as the undisputed king of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
In a display of sheer dominance, Fnatic ONIC PH achieved a flawless victory, not dropping a single game throughout the entire tournament. Indonesia’s TLID fought valiantly, but ultimately succumbed to the sheer force of the Philippine representatives, who closed out the tournament with a decisive 4-1 gentleman’s sweep and gave the nation its fifth consecutive M-Series World Championship in six tournaments.
This impressive feat marks Fnatic ONIC PH as the first team to secure the title through the upper bracket since EVOS Legends in 2019. Adding to the historical significance, their victory took place in the same venue, the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that hosted the very first MLBB world championship.

Congratulations!
The team’s star gold laner, Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas, known as “The Gold Standard,” earned the Finals MVP award. Kelra’s Bruno picks proved instrumental in securing his team’s first two victories, but it was Fnatic ONIC PH’s overall synergy and strategic execution that truly set them apart. Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez, Borris “Brusko” Parro, and King “K1NGKONG” Perez delivered standout performances, contributing heavily to the Filipino team’s momentum.
Just when Fnatic ONIC PH seemed unstoppable, TLID seized a critical opening. A risky draft decision from the Filipino squad — leaving Kelra without a marksman — allowed TLID to claw back a victory in Game 3. But Fnatic ONIC PH quickly regained their composure, returning to their comfort picks, unleashing their signature aggression, and exposing TLID’s over-reliance on utility heroes. A final, fatal error of failing to lock onto Kelra near the base turret sealed TLID’s fate, dashing their championship hopes.

With the win, the Filipino powerhouse claim the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and etch their name in MLBB history.
Looking ahead, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive calendar is packed. The MSC 2025 is set for mid-July to early August 2025, followed by the M7 World Championship in Indonesia in January 2026. Indonesia boasts one of the largest and most passionate Mobile Legends communities in the world, so expect an electric atmosphere for the next MLBB championship.
Beyond the global stage, MLBB will also feature prominently at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December, with both men’s and women’s divisions vying for medals. It’s a testament to the mobile game’s enduring popularity and its growing recognition as a legitimate sporting event.
