Finally, the first smartphone under realme‘s brand-new Neo series is officially here.

The realme Neo7 is designed to challenge the status quo, packing top-tier features into an IP69-rated device that won’t break the bank.

Starting at only ¥2,199, or roughly $302, for the base 12GB/256GB configuration, the realme Neo7 looks to offer incredible value for money performance-wise. The top-tier variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at ¥3,299 ($454). Preorders have already started in China, with deliveries slated for December 16.

That said, you’re looking for a high-performance handset that can keep up with your busy lifestyle without emptying your wallet, the newly launched phone might be worth considering. If you can find it, that is. The device comes in black, blue, and silver colors.

Under the hood, the realme Neo7 boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, one of last year’s top-grade processors. This is the same flagship-level silicon found in the Xiaomi 14T Pro that can handle anything you throw at it. The large 7,700mm² VC heatsink could be a major boon for heavy gamers as well.

The real showstopper here is the generous 7,000mAh battery, which realme claims can last up to three days on a single charge. And when you do need to power up, the unit’s 80-watt fast charging will get you back in action in no time.

The realme Neo7’s impressive specs don’t stop there. The 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display promises vibrant visuals with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. And with an IP69 rating, this model is built to withstand even the most demanding environments.

On the camera front, the realme Neo7 features a 50-megapixel main image sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultrawide with a 16mm-equivalent lens. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel front-facing camera tucked into a punch-hole notch.

Meanwhile, realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15, provides a smooth and intuitive user experience. The Neo7 also supports the latest connectivity standards, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
