It’s confirmed: The vivo X200 series is making its way to the global scene in less than a week.

(Update, November 15: We now have the vivo X200 series’ launch date in the Philippines!)

The launch event is scheduled for November 19, with preorders starting soon after in Malaysia. There’s no word yet on when the lineup is rolling out in other countries, but at least vivo Philippines already announced weeks ago that it will be released in the Philippines this year.

Just to refresh your memory, the series consists of the vivo X200 Pro, vivo X200 Pro mini, and vivo X200, but word has it that the mini will be staying in China. Still, the other two smartphones are also beasts when it comes to specs. Both the vivo X200 Pro and vivo X200 rock MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400 5G chipset and triple-camera setups.

Reports claim that the dedicated 135mm focal length, Telephoto Super Stage mode, Super Landscape mode, and Telephoto Macro features offered to the Chinese market are all coming to the international versions. Plus, you’ll be able to shoot pro-level videos with 4K slow-mo at 120fps, 10-bit LOG video, and even 4K HDR cinematic portrait video.

Co-engineered with Zeiss, the Android 15-based vivo X200 series is finally launching outside of China

The vivo X200 Pro and vivo X200 are packed with serious AI smarts, thanks to the processor. Think real-time voice translation (though this might be China-specific for now), live broadcast filters that make you look even more awesome, and AI-powered beauty enhancements for the perfect selfie.

The series even has “kilometer-level network-free communication technology.” Basically, that means you can stay connected with others even when you’re off the grid — perfect for adventures in remote areas.

The vivo X200 Pro and vivo X200 got a major battery upgrade. We’re talking up to a massive 6,000mAh battery in the Pro model. The company likewise improved the battery’s cold resistance, so you can keep using your phone even in chilly weather. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or just love scrolling through social media, the units should be able to keep up.

Speaking of scrolling, the X200 series has displays ranging from 6.31 inches to 6.78 inches with a special eye-care feature to reduce strain. Plus, it has a 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming technology that makes the screen even easier on your eyes, especially in low light.

While the starting price in China is ¥4,299 (roughly P34,953 or $593), we’ll have to wait until the official launch to find out how much the devices will cost globally — or at least in Malaysia.
