Infinix Philippines is back with a fresh batch of budget-friendly smartphones, and this time, the brand best known for its value-focused devices is doubling down on style.

The HOT 50 series — which includes the HOT 50i, HOT 50, HOT 50 5G, HOT 50 Pro, and HOT 50 Pro+ — aims to deliver a compelling combination of design, performance, and affordability.

Leading the pack is the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+, a device that caught our eye with its super-sleek aesthetics and surprisingly above-average feature set. Curious? You can check out our initial impressions or dive deeper into the phone’s top features in this article. But if you’re on a tighter budget, the regular Infinix HOT 50 might be more your speed.

Speaking of speed, how fast can you open TikTok? Because Infinix is offering some sweet deals for early birds. If you buy a HOT 50 series phone on TikTok Shop this October 29, you’ll be able to score discounts up to P1,200 ($21), along with exclusive freebies and free shipping. You can own the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ in Titanium Grey, Sleek Black, or Dreamy Purple for only P7,299 (around $125) instead of P8,499 ($146). The vanilla HOT 50 with a regular price of P6,999 ($120) can be purchased for just P5,999 ($103).

Deals for early birds on TikTok

Not on TikTok? No worries. Both handsets will be available at authorized stores and kiosks across the Philippines and online via Infinix’s official Lazada and Shopee stores, too.

“With the HOT 50 Pro+, we’ve combined the world’s slimmest 3D-curved design with Titan Armor Protection, creating a device that merges style with rugged durability,” said Infinix general manager Tony Zhao. “It’s designed to meet the needs of adventurous users who demand both aesthetics and performance in their smartphones. In line with the ‘WOOOW, NEW HOT’ slogan, Infinix continues to deliver cutting-edge innovation and excitement to users worldwide, offering devices that inspire creativity and exploration.”

We already talked about the HOT 50 Pro+ in great detail, so now it’s time to shine the spotlight on the Infinix HOT 50. This budget handset might not have all the bells and whistles of its pricier sibling, but it still packs a punch — especially for gamers. And while the HOT 50 Pro+ flaunts curves and a slim 6.8mm profile, the HOT 50 opts for a more classic flat design. Its metallic shell houses a triple-camera array, and at 7.7mm thick, it’s no slouch in the portability department.

But the real story here is the performance you get for the price. Like its more premium sibling, the standard model rocks the same MediaTek Helio G100 4G chipset, which we found capable of playing demanding games, including Honkai: Star Rail, Wreckfest, and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, at a decent clip. The chip can also run Honor of Kings at 60 FPS, even with the FPS preset cranked up to High and resolution set to Ultra.

But the Infinix HOT 50 isn’t just about gaming prowess. Other notable specs include a 120Hz 6.78-inch flat display that can reach 800 nits of peak brightness, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at up to 18 watts. That said, if you’re looking for a phone that might be able to handle your gaming needs without draining your wallet, the newly announced HOT 50 might just be your perfect match.
