It’s almost time to “Lite” it up.
vivo Philippines is bringing the vivo V40 Lite 5G and vivo Lite 4G here soon. In fact, the company will accept preorders for the two smartphones until October 31. Early birds get to enjoy a P1,000 (around $17) discount and bring home a free pair of vivo TWS 3e valued at P1,999 ($35), a DITO SIM 199 with P1,000 ($17) bonus load, and four years of battery warranty.
While vivo hasn’t officially revealed the prices of the new models, several promoters claim that the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations of the 5G version cost P14,999 ($262) and P17,999 ($314), respectively. The 4G variant with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, on the other hand, is reportedly priced at P12,999 ($227).
The vivo V40 Lite 5G and vivo Lite 4G debuted in Indonesia barely two weeks ago. They’re designed to offer a combination of sleek design, decent performance, and advanced features to the lower-midrange segment of the market.
Imagine a dual 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and Aura Light, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80-watt fast charging. That’s what you’ll get with both the V40 Lite 5G and V40 Lite 4G.
The main differences lie in the in the secondary camera on the back and the chipset. While the more premium device comes with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, the other is equipped with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a Snapdragon 685 chip.
