In the Philippines, you can get the base configuration with an Intel Core i5-13450HX CPU and an RTX 3050, 8GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD for P54,995 (around $965 converted). Want more oomph? Bumping up to an RTX 4050 and 16GB of RAM will set you back P76,995 ($1,350).

We got our hands on the top-of-the-line LOQ 15IRX9 kit with an Intel Core i7-13650HX processor and RTX 4050 graphics, and put it through its paces. This particular variant officially retails for P84,995 ($1,490) locally. Can Lenovo really deliver a knockout performance without sacrificing those essential laptop qualities? That’s what we’re here to find out.
We threw a gauntlet of games at this machine, from the competitive firefights of Counter-Strike 2 to the demanding worlds of Forza Motorsport and Diablo IV. Unsurprisingly, the LOQ 15IRX9 chewed through them all with relative ease at 1080p, the display’s native resolution. We did notice some of the compromises Lenovo made to hit that aggressive price point — compromises you’ll either learn to live with, or will have you looking for something pricier.
