Right on cue, OPPO has officially unveiled a new A series model on the local market. Say hello to the new OPPO A3, a durable smartphone designed for everyday use.
(Update, October 18: The OPPO A3 is now available with more RAM and storage in the Philippines!)
With its military-grade shock resistance and enhanced water protection, the company says its latest A series phone is ready to handle whatever life throws your way.
In the Philippines, the OPPO A3 carries a suggested retail price of P8,999 (around $159 converted) for the variant with 6GB of physical RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Sparkle Black and Starry Purple are your color options. You can find it on the brand’s official online stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
The OPPO A3 is built to withstand drops and spills. It’s been tested and certified to meet U.S. Military Grade Shock Resistance standards and has earned a five-star rating for overall drop resistance from SGS. That military-grade durability gives you the freedom to use your smartphone without worry, whether you’re commuting, working, or just relaxing at home.

And here’s another one
Specs-wise, the A3 offers a large 6.67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Even in bright sunlight, the screen’s 1,000 nits peak brightness promises a clear and vibrant viewing experience. For shooting photos and videos, this phone features a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 4G chipset, a relatively new processor that hasn’t been widely used by other manufacturers.
While not much is known about this chip, it’s essentially a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 662, a processor released back in 2020. This might not sound particularly exciting, but OPPO has a history of optimizing its software to deliver impressive performance on midrange hardware.
OPPO’s newest budget offering also packs a 5,100mAh battery that supports 45-watt SUPERVOOC 2.0 fast charging. The brand even claims that the battery can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after four years of use, ensuring long-lasting performance.
