Huawei Sept 19 global launch could debut Watch GT 5

Set your clock for what looks like Huawei‘s upcoming smartwatch unveiling.

The technology giant has announced that it will hold an “innovative product launch” in Barcelona, Spain, on September 19.

While it hasn’t revealed what it will debut globally, Huawei has posted an official teaser showing two smartwatches. The one at the top is dark gray in color and has an octagonal frame. It may look sharper now, but it seems to have the design language of last year’s Huawei Watch GT 4. There may be truth to the rumors then that this one’s the Huawei Watch GT 5. Recall that the Huawei Watch GT 5 series, along with the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 and Huawei Watch D2, has already been spotted on the sites of several certification authorities.

As for the other one in the image above? We don’t know about you, but the white smartwatch doesn’t look the same as one of the 2023 GT wearables, so we’re not sure if it’s from another line. It’s still possible that the device is a smaller version of the Huawei Watch GT 5 and mainly targeted at women.
