OnePlus has officially — and quietly — launched its latest budget-oriented smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G, in the Philippines. Positioned as an “entertainment phone,” the device aims to deliver a compelling multimedia experience without breaking the bank.
(Update, August 7: Our OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G review is up!)
Locally, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G has a suggested retail price of P17,999 (around $308) at retail. That’s pretty competitive considering the same configuration costs €329 (P20,815 or $356) in Europe. Available in Mega Blue and Super Silver, both with glossy finishes, the local release comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
As an introductory offer, the device gets P1,000 ($17) off its launch price online until August 15, bringing it down to P16,999 ($291) for a limited time. Early birds will also receive extras worth P2,500 ($43), which include a free pair of Bluetooth earbuds, a case, and a power brick. If you’re looking to spread out the cost, don’t sweat it. OnePlus has partnered with Home Credit as well as credit-card companies to offer interest-free installment plans for up to 18 months. Refer to the information below:
- Home Credit up to 18 months installment at 0% interest
- Credit cards: 6/12 months installment at 0% interest till August 31 (offline purchases only)

Online, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is available on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop with a special “P1000 ($17) off” voucher redeemable till August 15. You may also purchase the smartphone at OnePlus kiosks and designated muiltibrand stores
At the heart of the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a notable upgrade from the LCD panels found in previous generations. This panel boasts up to 1,200 nits of brightness for the entire screen, while the peak brightness can hit 2,100 nits for a certain area, offering vibrant visuals and improved visibility in various lighting conditions. Complementing the display is an in-display fingerprint sensor for convenient biometric authentication.
On the photography front, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G borrows a page from its pricier sibling, the Nord CE4. You’ll find a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization to keep your imagess bright and blur-free, plus a 2-megapixel depth sensor for those portrait shots. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel shooter in a centered punch-hole cutout at the top.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a familiar choice in the midrange segment. While not the most recent processor, it’s capable of handling everyday tasks and light gaming.
Battery life is a key consideration for many users, and the Nord CE4 Lite 5G doesn’t disappoint with a 5,110mAh capacity cell. The OPPO sub-brand claims that the included 80-watt fast-charging technology can replenish the battery in under an hour.
Impressively, this beauty is also a lightweight champ, coming in at a svelte 8.1mm thick and weighing in at just 191 grams. That’s a serious diet compared to its predecessor, the Nord CE3 Lite, which was both thicker and heavier.
But that’s not all. OnePlus has also given the Nord CE4 Lite 5G a splash of durability with IP54 water and dust resistance. This is a first for a CE Lite model, and it’s a welcome addition for those who tend to be a little clumsy or enjoy outdoor adventures in a tropical country like the Philippines.
