Redmi Pad Pro 5G coming to the Philippines Aug 2

A versatile Redmi tablet that’s designed for entertainment and productivity is hitting local store shelves soon.

According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is launching August 2 in the Philippines. It’s basically the 4G version that was released in the country early this month with a starting price of P14,999 (roughly $256). The key difference lies in its 5G connectivity, obviously, made possible by the inclusion of a SIM card slot.

The centerpiece of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is its 12.1-inch 2.5K screen with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and TÜV Rheinland triple eye-protection certifications.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. A 10,000mAh battery should keep you powered throughout the day, whether you’re working on a project or binging on your favorite shows. When it’s time to recharge, the device’s 33-watt fast-charging technology allows you to get back up and running in no time.

Powered by Xiaomi HyperOS, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G offers effortless connectivity, so you can share content, transfer files, and collaborate seamlessly across devices on the same Wi-Fi network. It likewise features 8-megapixel front and rear cameras and Dolby Atmos quad speakers.
