The wait is over: HONOR’s hotly anticipated 200 series has officially landed in the Philippines.

The HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro are now available on the local market. The company’s latest mainstream smartphones are priced aggressively, with the standard model fetching a retail price of P24,999 (around $428) and the Pro variant selling for P29,999 ($513). The two devices are equipped with 12GB of physical RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

HONOR and Studio Harcourt: A picture-perfect match made in heaven

The HONOR 200 series promises to redefine smartphone photography with its groundbreaking partnership with Studio Harcourt. This iconic Parisian studio, renowned for its timeless portraits, has lent its expertise to create the exclusive Studio Harcourt mode on the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro.

Simply switch to Portrait mode, and let the magic happen. With a few taps, you can transform your portrait shots into stunning, studio-quality images. No more expensive equipment or professional lighting setups needed — just you and your phone.

In our review, we found that the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro really do put the camera first. When it comes to portraits, both models are absolute champs. They capture stunning shots with beautifully blurred backgrounds that make their subjects pop. Skin tones look natural and flattering, and the HONOR 200 Pro, in particular, even manages to capture those pesky wispy hairs with impressive accuracy.

Beyond impressive portraiture

At first glance, the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro share the same aesthetics, highlighted by a large oval camera island with three rear-facing cameras. Both flaunt gorgeous curved OLED screens with a 1.5K resolution and a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. They also pack a hefty 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports fast wired charging up to 100 watts and promises to keep up with your binge-watching sessions. Plus, they’ve got a top-tier 50-megapixel main image sensor, albeit from different manufacturers.

Of course, there are some key differences between the two phones. The HONOR 200 Pro steps up to the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the same flagship-level silicon powering the POCO F6 and realme GT 6. Meanwhile, the HONOR 200 settles for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Both are built on the latest 4nm process, but the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is undoubtedly the more powerful of the two.
