RedMagic 9 Pro arrives in PH with starting price of P46,999 ($838)

The best-performing flagship Android smartphone on Antutu has landed in the Philippines.

The RedMagic 9 Pro, which debuted as the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone in the world end of last year, is now available for purchase in the country. You can get it on ZTE’s official Shopee store, concept store at SM North EDSA, or kiosks nationwide at the following prices:

The Pro model, along with the China-exclusive Pro Plus variant, is the first to feature an RGB fan to cool the internals and prevent thermal throttling. Its cooling system is called ICE 13 and offers a vapor chamber that has been expanded by 10,182mm², allowing operating temperatures to lower up to 18 degrees Celsius.

The battery is large at 6,500mAh to let you use the gaming phone for up to 56 hours. And if you need to top it up, you can rely on the 80-watt fast-charging feature; a full charge from zero takes only about 35 minutes.

The RedMagic 9 Pro also packs a 6.8-inch 120Hz flat display, 520Hz shoulder triggers with customizable lights, the Nubia‘s gaming sub-brand’s self-developed Red Core R2 Pro gaming chip, an Android 14-based user interface, a 16-megapixel under-display selfie camera, and a rear imaging system headlines by a 50-megapixel main shooter driven by Samsung’s GN5 image sensor.
