TECNO Philippines has lifted the veil on its latest gaming-focused phone for the lower-midrange market, which happens to be its first Dolby Atmos-tuned device.

The TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G is now official in the country, almost two weeks after we covered its global launch at MWC [Mobile World Congress] 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Transsion sub-brand seems to means business in defending its top spot in the smartphone segment in the Philippines, as it has priced the POVA 6 Pro 5G for only P11,999 (roughly $216). You can even buy it for less on TikTok Shop from March 10 to March 15 — just P10,499 ($189)! And if you’re one of the first 200 to purchase the just-unveiled model, you get to take home a free POVA gift box.

That’s aggressive pricing for a unit that features a 6,000mAh battery with support for up to 70 watts of fast charging; 12GB RAM and 256GB storage to pair with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 5G chipset; a new SuperCooled cooling system; and a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a maximum of 120Hz refresh rate, a fingerprint sensor underneath it, and a 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming system.

The Dynamic-Tech design is a come-on, too, showing upgraded MiniLED lights, so you can personalize it to your heart’s content.
