vivo has confirmed that the vivo V30 series, the successor to the vivo V29 lineup, is coming to the Philippines soon.

(Update, February 5: The vivo V30 5G is now official!)
Recall that the company’s local arm unveiled two V29 models on the market last year, with the vivo V29 5G and vivo V29e 5G both sporting the Aura Light 2.0 flash that was improved with a color temperature slider. In the Philippines, the V29 5G was priced from P24,999 (around $444 converted) back when it was first sold at retail, while the V29e 5G sold for P18,999 ($337).
No less than vivo confirmed the V30 series’ upcoming launch via a press release, as well as the brand’s official website for the Philippine market, which showcases the silhouettes of the vivo V30 5G’s front and back panels. Based on the renders, it’s pretty clear that the smartphone will sport a rectangular camera module and a curved display with a punch hole for the selfie camera.

A description for the V30 on vivo’s website claims that the lineup will offer photography features that “deliver a studio-level shooting experience,” so it’s likely that we’ll see another iteration of Aura Light flash on the device. It will also come with “extra-large storage” and an “ultra-powerful processor.”
According to tipster Paras Gulani, the global variant of the vivo V30 5G will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor alongside 12GB of physical RAM, which can be extended up to 24GB via virtual RAM expansion. It will reportedly ship with 80-watt fast wired charging, too, and should come in Ocean Blue and Elegant Black colors.
