OPPO‘s latest Reno smartphones are finally landing in the Philippines in less than two weeks.

The company is kicking off February 2024 with the February 1 launch of the OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G and OPPO Reno11 5G. Take note that the versions recently unveiled in Malaysia are different from those that debuted in China last year and it’s likely that the variants that will be released in the Philippines are the same as those of our neighboring Southeast Asian country.

With that in mind, the Pro model should be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset while the non-Pro Reno11 relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC.

The focus here is still what OPPO calls the Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System. Both devices are part of the brand’s lineup of portrait experts, after all. The Reno11 Pro 5G sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and a 32-megapixel telephoto with a Sony IMX709 sensor. The Reno11 5G, on the other hand, gets a Sony LYT600 sensor for the 50-megapixel main shooter as well as a Sony IMX709 sensor for the 32-megapixel telephoto camera.

The Portrait Expert Engine returns, but OPPO claims it’s much better now, as it can already identify faces, separate subjects and scenes, preserve skin tones, enhance clarity and facial details, and blend portraits and backgrounds.

Another highlight is SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. With support for 80-watt fast charging, the Pro can already reach up to 45% after just 17 minutes plugged in. A 45-minute charge on the non-Pro, on the other hand, already means a full battery.
