Infinix Mobile will officially announce the successor to the Infinix Hot 30, the Infinix Hot 40, in Africa on December 9.
(Update, December 10: The Infinix Hot 40 series is priced from around $127!)
The upcoming smartphone’s predecessor was launched in the Philippines five months ago for P6,999 (around $126 converted) for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, so we expect the Infinix Hot 40 to sell at around that price if and when it arrives locally.
Recall that the latter was listed on Google Play Console alongside other members of the Hot 40 series, including the Hot 40i and Hot 40 Pro. It’s likely then that all three models will make their way to the market next month.
Save the date for the hottest bash in town!!!

Going official soon!
According to its Google Play Console listing, the regular Hot 40 will feature a MediaTek Helio G88 4G chipset, 33-watt fast charging, and an FHD+ display with a punch hole for the selfie camera. It will ship with an Android 13-based user interface as well. It doesn’t seem to be a major upgrade compared to the model before it, as all the aforementioned specs appear on the Hot 30, too.
The Infinix Hot 40i, on the other hand, will probably arrive as the cheapest of the bunch, just like its predecessor. Based on its Console listing, the phone is expected to pack a Unisoc T606 4G processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The screen also comes with a punch-hole cutout, but maxes out at 720p.
Lastly, there’s the Infinix Hot 40 Pro, which matches the display specs of the vanilla model and is likewise limited to 4G data. However, unlike the Hot 40, the Pro variant is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which is much more capable than the Helio G88 gaming-wise, not to mention more efficient.
