Or so Steve Hemmerstoffer, more popularly known as @OnLeaks on Twitter, claims. But considering his track record of sharing leaks that turned out to be correct, we’re assuming this one is also accurate — or at least close to it.
Based on the renders, the realme GT Neo 6 inherits the back design of its predecessor, though it now looks more refined than the realme GT Neo 5. It seems that the rectangle module near the rear-camera system can light up, too.
The images also show the realme GT Neo 6 comes with three cameras and an LED flash on the back and power and volume keys along the right edge. There’s support for NFC connectivity and SUPERVOOC technology. And it should be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G chipset, currently one of the most powerful mobile platforms.
Previous leaks claimed the realme GT Neo 6 features an OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 50-megapixel main rear camera with optical image stabilization, and 100-watt fast-charging support.
Curiously, its predecessor debuted in February as the world’s fastest-charging smartphone. It shipped with the industry’s first 12A charging cable to supply a total of 240 watts of power to the dual-cell 4,600mAh battery, as well as a 240-watt dual-GaN mini charger — another first in the mobile landscape. There was a 150-watt version as well.
The GT Neo 5 and its global version, the realme GT3, did not become available in the Philippines. Will realme not release the yet-to-be-launched handset in the country, too?
