Just days after OnePlus teased its third-gen Nord series flagship, the company announced that the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will be launched in the Philippines soon.
(Update, July 14: The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is now available in the Philippines!)
True to the leaks, the phone shares many similarities with the OnePlus Ace 2V for the Chinese market, including the latter’s design and 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The Nord 3 5G will be available in a Misty Green color variant at local retail.
There are no pricing and availability details for the Philippine market just yet, but it should launch in the country “soon,” according to the press release we received.
In China, the OnePlus Ace 2V starts at ¥2,299 (P17,854 or $320) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 16GB/256GB variant is priced at ¥2,499 (P19,407 or $348), while the top-end 16GB/512GB model costs ¥2,799 (P21,737 or $390). The OnePlus Nord 3 5G could be priced similarly in the Philippines.
As for the specs, the Nord 3 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, same as the Ace 2V, and sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It also comes with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main image sensor at the back, a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports OPPO’s SUPERVOOC fast-charging standard up to 80 watts. The OPPO Find X6 uses the same 50-megapixel Sony sensor for ultrawide and zoom shots.
We’ll keep you posted with what else we learn about the OnePlus Nord 3 5G’s local launch event. In the meantime, you may want to stay tuned to OnePlus Philippines’ Facebook page for updates.
