OPPO has officially added a couple of good-looking, similarly designed “portrait experts” to its portfolio.

(Update, July 24: The OPPO Reno10 series is launching in the Philippines this August!)

The brand has launched the OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus, OPPO Reno10 Pro, and OPPO Reno10 alongside the Enco R2, Pad 2, and Watch 3 in China. And we’re hoping any one of these models will be released in the Philippines given that the Reno9 series didn’t arrive in the country.

OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus

The most premium of the trio, the OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus boasts a camera system that comprises a 50-megapixel Sony main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The setup is powered by the company’s self-designed MariSilicon X imaging NPU, which was created to address “some photography issues smartphone users face while doubling down on enhancing OPPO features for taking that perfect photo and capturing precious moments in 4K resolution.”

The OLED screen has a punch hole at the top center housing a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It is curved; measures 6.74 inches; features a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and a peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits; and supports OPPO’s Pro XDR display function. The latter debuted on the Find X6 lineup and adjusts the screen brightness at a pixel-by-pixel level, resulting in up to an 8x improvement in HDR image rendering.

Just like the screens of the other models in the new series, the OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus’ OLED display is curved and has a punch hole at the top center

In China, the 256GB and 512GB versions are now pre-selling for ¥3,899 (around P30,840 or $553) and ¥4,299 (P34,004 or $610), respectively.

OPPO Reno10 Pro

The other Pro model is much like the OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus. Their main differences? The more affordable Reno comes equipped with a 32-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 5G chipset, packs a battery rated at 4,600mAh, and is slimmer at 7.68mm (versus 8.28mm). There’s also no purple color variant; you can pick up a Reno10 Pro in blue instead.

In China, phone’s 16GB/256GB version is priced at ¥3,499 (P27,677 or $496), while the unit with double the storage is available at ¥3,899 (P30,840 or $553).

OPPO Reno10

The regular OPPO Reno10 is fitted out with a triple-camera system on the back, too, but its primary sensor is 64 megapixels and could be an OmniVision OV64B unit instead of from Sony and there’s no MariSilicon X imaging NPU inside. The OLED display is curved as well, but has a smaller, 6.7-inch real estate and a lower peak brightness of 950 nits.

The smartphone relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chip matched with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Fast-charging support is also downgraded, understandably, to 80 watts. But hey, that’s still fast. That means the battery can get to 50% in roughly 11 minutes and to a full charge in about 29 minutes.

In China, the OPPO Reno10 is priced as follows:

  • 8GB + 256GB: ¥2,499 (P19,769 or $354)
  • 12GB + 256GB: ¥2,799 (P22,142 or $397)
  • 12GB + 512GB: ¥2,999 (P23,725 or $425)

Specs

  • 6.7-inch curved OLED display, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, 950 nits peak brightness
  • 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G with 5G
  • Adreno 642L GPU

  • Triple 64-megapixel main, 32-megapixel telephoto, with 8-megapixel ultrawide rear cameras
  • 32-megapixel front camera
  • Under-display fingerprint reader
  • 4,600mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging
  • ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13
  • Colors: Blue, black, and gold
