By now, you probably already know that one of Huawei’s latest flagship models is coming to the Philippines.
(Update, May 11: Watch the Huawei Mate X3 in action and find out why we think it’s one of the most interesting devices of its kind! We reveal its price in the Philippines, too. On a related note, the Huawei P60 Pro has landed in the Philippines with freebies worth up to P24,988 [$448]!)
(Update, May 4: Huawei Philippines has revealed the local launch date of the P60 Pro and Mate X3!)
The Huawei P60 Pro, which debuted in China last month alongside other P60 series phones and the Mate X3 foldable, is scheduled to be released in the country soon. We don’t know the date yet, but it should be on or after the P60’s May 9 global launch in Munich, Germany.
Did you know there’s a way for you to see and experience the Huawei P60 Pro for yourself before the 9th, though? Huawei Philippines says it will hold exclusive previews of the smartphone at select Huawei Experience Stores nationwide.
To check if there’s a shop near you that has this offer, just visit this registration page and find your city. The page will then display a list of stores in your area as well as the available slots. The earliest preview date is April 22, so it’s safe to assume that the activity will kick off next weekend.
You will receive an email confirmation if you have successfully registered. Present that to any one of the store representatives on the day of your appointment to be able to join the Huawei P60 Pro exclusive preview.
The Huawei P60 Pro has a lot going for it, including a quad-curve display that’s protected by a 10x more drop-resistant Kunlun Glass, a 4,815mAh battery with 88-watt Wired SuperCharge technology, EMUI 13.1, and a beautiful, one-of-a-kind pearl-texture design in the Rococo Pearl variant.
But the feature that impressed us the most is the XMAGE imaging system. The P60 Pro boasts the world’s first Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera (48-megapixel telephoto shooter with an optically stabilized f/2.1 lens) and first-ever Ultra Lighting Main Camera (48-megapixel RYYB cam with an f1.4–f4.0 auto-adjustable physical aperture).
In normal speak, it’s easier to take images with this flagship model no matter the distance or lighting condition. And our almost-weeklong work trip to China, where we used the Huawei P60 Pro to document our travel, has proven that. We’ll share more about our experience in another post. For now, let us leave you with these two sample shots.
