POCO has finally revealed the launch date of its upcoming X series phones.
(Update, February 6: Official: Here are the prices and specs of the POCO X5 Pro 5G and POCO X5 5G!)
The POCO X5 Pro 5G and POCO X5 5G are confirmed to go official globally on February 6. And we here at Revü can now confirm that the two handsets are going to be released in the Philippines as well, as can be seen in the updated listing we spotted more than a week ago on e-commerce platform Lazada. Unfortunately, only a placeholder price is shown there.
As with many other POCO phones, the upcoming devices are expected to be tweaked versions of Xiaomi Redmi handsets.
The POCO X5 Pro 5G is reportedly a rebadged Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, coming in with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, and a 108-megapixel main camera on the back.
The non-Pro model, on the other hand, is said to share many similarities with the Redmi Note 12 5G and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen, a battery with 5,000mAh capacity, and a 48-megapixel primary rear camera.
Here’s how the two smartphones supposedly look.
