Antutu has released its latest rankings of flagship, sub-premium, and midrange Android smartphones released in China that performed well on the platform.
The three lists show that Vivo sub-brand iQOO handsets dominated each category. In the flagship space, the iQOO 11 Pro topped the charts with an average benchmark score of 1,311,221. Its non-Pro version, on the other hand, landed fourth place with 1,288,523 points.
Notice that seven of the phones that made it to the top 10 in December 2022 are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G chipset, which boasts one prime core, four performance cores, and three efficiency cores. Only one uses a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 — the OnePlus Ace Pro — while the other two — the Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 — rely on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 SoC.
It was a different scenario for the sub-flagship category. Every one of the smartphones in the ranking is equipped with a MediaTek chip, from the Dimensity 8200 inside first-placer iQOO Neo7 SE and the Dimensity 8100-Max powering devices such as the OPPO Reno9 Pro, OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, OnePlus Ace, and OPPO Reno8 Pro Plus.
But the midrange category was all Qualcomm. Leading the pack was the Snapdragon 778G Plus-based iQOO Z6 with an average Antutu benchmark score of 600,109. Rounding out the top 10 was the Huawei Nova 9 Pro Snapdragon 778G phone with 517,010 points.
