The Realme 10 series’ launch in China is scheduled for November 17, but the brand has already made one of the models official.
The Realme 10 5G is now up for sale in the country with a retail price of ¥1,299 (around P10,447 or $182) for the 8GB/128GB variant and ¥1,599 (P12,858 or $224) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This development comes just days after the Realme 10 4G was announced globally, including in the Philippines.
We’re not sure if this model will be released outside China, as the Realme 10 5G is a step down from the Realme 9 5G that debuted in India. For one, the new smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, while the handset that was unveiled last March uses a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.
Anyhow, the Realme 10 5G features a 5,000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging, up to 14GB of dynamic RAM, 200% Ultra Volume mode, and a 50-megapixel triple camera on the back. It also comes with a 6.6-inch screen, an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor, and Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0. Curiously, it looks like the Realme 9i 5G.
