OPPO has rolled out the red carpet for three new additions to the brand’s affordable A series of smartphones. All three boot ColorOS 12.1 on top of Android 12 out of the box.

(Update, November 15: Reward yourself this holiday season with the OPPO A77s or OPPO A17k. Both are now available in the Philippines!)
The new OPPO A77s, OPPO A17, and OPPO A17k are now official in the Philippines, with local availability beginning October 15 for the A17 and later this month, on the 29th, for the A77s and A17k.
The latest A series devices will be available for purchase at all OPPO stores and partner retailers nationwide and on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop on their respective availability dates.
So how much are they in the Philippines? The OPPO A77s, A17, and A17k are priced as follows:
- OPPO A77s (8GB/128GB): P13,999 (around $238 converted)
- OPPO A17 (4GB/64GB): P7,999 ($136)
- OPPO A17k (3GB/64GB): P5,999 ($102)
OPPO A77s
Available in Starry Black and Sunset Orange colors, the OPPO A77s features a sleek “retro” design with a fiberglass-leather finish on the orange variant, similar to the flagship Find X2 Pro, while the black version features the company’s familiar OPPO Glow design.
Inside, the phone pairs an efficient 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset with a large 5,000mAh battery, which should be good enough for 17 hours of continuous YouTube playback. The battery also supports OPPO’s 33-watt SuperVOOC standard for fast charging, promising a full charge in just 71 minutes.
Another key selling point here is the camera system. The OPPO A77s sports a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, joined by a 2-megapixel auxiliary rear cam for portrait shots and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter up front. Additionally, there’s an Extra HD mode baked into the camera software to upscale the resolution of photos taken with the primary sensor to 108 megapixels.
For immersive audio, the smartphone also boasts a Dirac 3.0-calibrated dual-speaker setup with an Ultra Volume mode, which is said to enhance the max output of the speakers by up to 44%.

OPPO A17
The middle child of the lineup, the OPPO A17 retains the 50-megapixel rear camera of its pricier stablemate. It brings support for OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology to expand the RAM up to 8GB using the unit’s unused storage space and improve the multitasking experience further.
A 5,000mAh battery should keep the phone running for more than a day on moderate usage, especially given the modest MediaTek Helio G35 chipset under the hood. The OPPO A17 has a 5-megapixel selfie cam with a Night View Selfie feature to improve low-light performance, too.
In the Philippines, the model is available in Lake Blue and Midnight Black colors with a premium leather-like feel, just like the A77s.

OPPO A17k
The most affordable A series variant unveiled today, the OPPO A17k arrives with an HD+ LCD display, Helio G35 processor, and 5-megapixel front-facer, like the A17. You get two color options — Gold and Navy Blue.
Perhaps more impressively, the smartphone comes with a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The RAM can still likewise be expanded via the RAM Expansion function. However, the A17k notably downgrades the main camera to a single 13-megapixel unit to hit its target price point.
