Infinix Mobile has confirmed that its Note 12 series will officially launch in the Philippines on June 10. And while we’re not sure which Note 12 models will be sold at local retail, the company’s latest teaser suggests a Note 12 model that ships in a special box designed to celebrate its partnership with popular battle-royale shooter PUBG Mobile.
(Update, June 10: Find out which Infinix Note 12 version was launched in the Philippines — and for how much!)
The Infinix Note 12 series comprises the Infinix Note 12, Infinix Note 12i, and Infinix Note 12 VIP.
The standard Note 12 has two editions: one powered by a Helio G88 chipset and another built around the more powerful Helio G96.
The Note 12i is the entry-level model in the series and features a 6.82-inch 90Hz LCD coupled with the Helio G85 platform inside.
The top-end Note 12 VIP, on the other hand, pairs a 120Hz Super AMOLED display with a Helio G96 processor and a 4,500mAh dual battery that supports 120-watt fast cable charging. Infinix claims the Note 12 VIP can go from zero to full capacity in just 17 minutes. The smartphone also packs a 108-megapixel main camera on the back, alongside a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Curiously, the Helio G88 and Helio G96 variants of the Note 12 sport similar specs but different rear panels. Both have a 6.7-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Their triple-camera modules are equipped with a 50 megapixel main camera, while their front cameras share a 16-megapixel sensor. Similarly, both models are fitted with a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 33 watts.
Stay tuned for local pricing and availability details when the brand announces the Note 12 series in the Philippines next month.
