When we at Revü recently spotted Samsung’s latest M series 5G phone’s price for the Philippine marke, the device wasn’t for sale yet. Now, it’s already available.
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is now up for purchase on the brand’s official store on Shopee Philippines and e-commerce sites of retailers like Abenson for P29,990 (roughly $573). But here’s the thing: If you buy the smartphone from the company’s official online store, you can get it for a discounted price of P26,990 ($515) — P3,000 ($57) less than the original price.
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G that’s available locally pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can still be extended up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The handset’s quad camera on the back is headlined by a 108-megapixel main sensor with nine-pixel-binning technology and offers flagship-inspired features such as Object Eraser for removing unwanted objects from pictures and Single Take for taking up to 10 outputs in one click.
The screen is Super AMOLED, measures 6.7 inches diagonally, has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In the waterdrop notch at the center of the display is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
This 5G-enabled Galaxy M53 likewise sports a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25-watt fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and One UI 4.1 layered on top of Android 12. You can get the smartphone in blue, green, or brown color.
