Xiaomi has unleashed its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered phones in the Philippines, offering devices that are masters in content creation and productivity, among others.

Starting tomorrow, March 24, until April 1, you can preorder the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro from official online (Shopee and Lazada) and authorized retail stores. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at P39,999 (roughly $764), and the Pro variant retails at P48,999 ($936).

But here’s the thing: If you buy any of them during the preorder period, you get to take home a free television. There’s a free 32-inch Mi TV P1 — valued at P10,990 ($210) — for early adopters of the Xiaomi 12 and a 43-inch Mi TV P1 — worth P18,990 ($363) — for those who pre-purchase the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro boast 120Hz AMOLED screens with an A+ rating from DisplayMate. However, the bigger panel on the Pro version is more exceptional, because it packs more pixels and uses Samsung’s E5 AMOLED panel with second-generation LTPO technology. That translates to a display with variable refresh rates for dramatically improving battery life while allowing for a smoother and faster-looking experience.

The regular model get a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.88 6P lens, while the Pro upgrades to three 50-megapixel rear sensors, headlined by Sony’s IMX707. The more premium of the two also supports fast charging up to 120 watts using the included power brick and cable. Both Xiaomi 12 series phones run MIUI 13 layered with Android 12.
