Samsung says the Galaxy A53 5G will be available beginning April 1 at all Samsung stores and partner retailers nationwide. Those who preorder the handset from March 18 to March 25 will receive a Samsung E-Store voucher worth P3,000 or 3,000 Mobile Legends Diamonds. You can also trade in your current phone for a new A53 5G and get up to P4,000 worth of freebies up to June 30.

The Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A33 5G, on the other hand, will go on sale from April 22 in the Philippines.

All three devices share the same rear design, sizable Super AMOLED panels with high refresh rates, a 5G-capable chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery capable of fast charging up to 25 watts. Oh, and they run Samsung’s latest One UI 4.1 overlay based on Android 12.

The top-of-the-line Galaxy A73 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, whereas the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G are built around Samsung’s own 5nm Exynos 1280 chip, which is similar to the MediaTek Dimensity 900 in terms of key specs and also uses a Mali-G68 GPU with four cores.

When it comes to taking pictures, though, the A73 clearly leads the pack with its 108-megapixel primary image sensor coupled with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle option plus a pair of 5-megapixel sensors for portrait and macro photography.
