Remember the two Galaxy M series phones that Samsung listed on its site for the press a few days ago? They’re coming to the Philippines.
(Update, March 21: Check out how much the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G and Samsung Galaxy M23 5G phones in the Philippines are!)
The support pages of the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G and Samsung Galaxy M23 5G are already up on the Korean technology giant’s Philippine website, indicating that the handsets will be offered locally, probably within the next month or two. Three M33 and two M23 models are shown. This means that all color options of the duo will be released in the country.
Both 5G-enabled, Android 12-based smartphones have the same front design, with each device having a waterdrop-styled notch. However, they look different from the back; the Galaxy M33 has a rectangular camera module, while the one on the M23 is square in shape.
The M33 is larger and heavier and gets a 50-megapixel quad-camera system on the rear; higher RAM options at 6GB and 8GB; a bigger, 6,000mAh battery; an accelerometer; and green, blue, and brown color variants. The Galaxy M23, on the other hand, features a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup on the back; 4GB of RAM to go along with 128GB of expandable storage; a 5,000mAh battery; and deep-green and light-blue shades.
Samsung didn’t mention their chips, but word has it that the higher-specced model is powered by an Exynos 1200 SoC, while the other uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G.
It remains to be seen when and for how much the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M23 5G will be sold in the Philippines. Rest assured that we will update you as soon as we have the launch date and prices.
