With the return of Huawei‘s legendary P series to the Philippines comes yet another exciting time for those who are after a smartphone that can double as a professional camera.

In a local media briefing, the technology giant today launched the Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pocket flagship devices. The Pro is currently ranked first on Dxomark’s list of best camera phones, and our camera test confirms it. And had it been reviewed by the benchmark site, the foldable, while being marketed more for its beauty, may probably be in the ranking as well, as our P50 Pocket review indicates.

Philippine pricing and preorder details
How much are the two new models from the P series? In the Philippines, the Huawei P50 Pro is priced at P52,999 (roughly $1,038 converted). The white version and the Premium Edition of the Huawei P50 Pocket, on the other hand, cost P69,999 ($1,371) and P86,999 ($1,704), respectively. They will be available for preorder starting February 4 at any of the following shops:
- P50 Pro preorder, ends February 10
- P50 Pocket preorder, ends February 17
Early adopters of the P50 Pro will get a free Huawei Buds 4 worth P7,999 ($157). And a free Huawei Watch 3 valued at P18,999 ($372) awaits those who’ll pre-purchase the P50 Pocket.
