It started with what is most likely the most affordable model in the lineup, the Realme 9i. And it looks like the Pro model is launching soon, too — probably in February.
(Update, January 27: The Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G phones are tipped to launch Feb 15. Here’s what we know about them so far!)
You see, not long after its design surfaced, the Realme 9 Pro is once again in the spotlight with the leak of its supposed full specifications. The specs sheet confirms the partial list of features that came out earlier, one of which is the chipset the smartphone uses.

According to the leak, the Realme 9 Pro is indeed powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695, the same 5G chip that’s inside the Honor X30, iQOO U5, and OPPO A96 and is rumored to be in the upcoming Redmi Note 11 Pro. The processor, which supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz versions of 5G, is paired with at least 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of non-expandable UFS 2.2 storage.
The device is said to feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that has a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10 content; a 64-megapixel, f/1.8 main rear camera assisted by 8-megapixel, f/2.3 ultra-wide and 2-megapixel, f/2.4 macro shooters; a 16-megapixel, f/2.5 selfie cam; and a 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 33 watts of fast charging. The user interface is allegedly based on Android 11. You can see the leaked document below.
In India, the base model of the Realme 9 Pro is expected to retail at ₹17,999 (roughly P12,413 in Philippine pesos and $242 in U.S. dollars). The unit with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, on the other hand, will apparently come with a ₹19,999 (P13,791 or $269) price tag.
