Infinix Mobile has refreshed its laptop line, throwing in a “full metal design” that is smaller and lighter than last year’s top-end Infinix Inbook X1 Pro alongside 10th Gen Intel processors and a 50Wh battery. Oh, and it boots Windows 11 Home out of the box, too.
And though the new Infinix Inbook X2 doesn’t look all that different compared to the previous model, the Inbook X1, it does boast some nice upgrades, including a screen that is supposed to be brighter than what the X1 offers, delivering up to 300 nits of peak brightness.
Like its predecessor, the Inbook X2 is aggressively priced and starts at just $399 (around P20,468 converted) for a 10th Gen Intel Core i3 CPU. The 10th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 variants will retail for $549 (P28,163) and $649 (P33,293), respectively. Gray, blue, red, and green are your color options, and it’s nice that Infinix has kept with the trend of offering competitively priced laptops with colorful designs.

An ultraportable laptop, the X2’s aluminum chassis comes in at 1.24kg and measures 14.8mm at its thickest point. It is also equipped with a keyboard backlight and a fingerprint reader embedded in the power button. The dual speakers are tuned by DTS Audio. Meanwhile, the IPS display is 14 inches, has FHD resolution, and covers 100% of sRGB.
For video and low-light selfies, the Inbook X2 borrows the same dual-LED flash setup of Infinix’s smartphone lineup, adopting an HD webcam and two LED lights for the flash or torch.
The battery is down from the Inbook X1’s 55Wh cell, while charging has been limited to 45 watts (from 65 watts on the X1), but still supports the PD standard. Infinix says you can get up to nine hours of mixed usage and 11 hours of web browsing on the X2.
