It’s finally happening: The previously PlayStation-exclusive RPG Final Fantasy VII Remake is launching on PC, giving non-console gamers a chance to experience one of 2020’s best and most highly rated games.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the enhanced version of Remake, which came out on the Sony PlayStation 5 platform earlier this year, is coming to the Epic Game Store on December 16. That’s less than a week from now.

The game will feature improved graphics and additional gameplay mechanics versus the standard Remake, in addition to a new chapter called Intermission focusing on ninja Yuffie Kisaragi, a Final Fantasy VII character who hadn’t appeared in Remake.

It’s worth mentioning that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade might be an Epic Game Store exclusive — at least for a while, as there’s no mention of a Steam release on the Square Enix website. And though the game runs incredibly well on the PS5, playing the game on PC at 4K and stable 60 fps with the graphics maxed out should be something to get excited about.

On a related note, here are the game’s minimum and recommended requirements for PC.
