Almost three weeks ago, we at Revü discovered that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G and Samsung Galaxy M22 will be released in the Philippines. At the time, we had no idea how much they are going to be sold here. That changes today.

Following our discovery that the cheaper model has finally been listed in the Shop section of the Korean manufacturer’s local website, we checked Samsung‘s official stores on Lazada and Shopee. And guess what? The two smartphones are already on the e-commerce platforms.

The Galaxy M52 5G in blue, black, and white variants is shown with a suggested retail price of P22,990 (around $457) on Lazada. However, you can’t buy it; it’s listed as “out of stock.” It’s a different case for the Galaxy M22. You may already buy it from Shopee for P10,590 ($211). Your color options are light blue, black, and white.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is powered by the same 5G chip that’s being used by devices such as the Realme GT Master Edition and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, both of which we have reviewed. It boasts a 6.7-inch, Super AMOLED Infinity-O display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a 64-megapixel triple rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25-watt fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy M22, on the other hand, uses a MediaTek Helio G80, which can also be found in phones like the Xiaomi Redmi 9 and the unit that we’re currently testing, the Vivo Y33s. It packs a 90Hz Super AMOLED Infinity-U display that measures 6.4 inches; a 48-megapixel quad camera on the back; and a battery rated at 5,000mAh.
