Another set of Redmi phones is about to debut soon — with one of them speculated to be launching globally as a tweaked POCO M4 Pro 5G.
(Update, October 28: And just like that, the Redmi Note 11 series is official!)
The Xiaomi brand has announced on Chinese social platform Weibo that the Redmi Note 11 series will go official alongside the Redmi Watch 2 in China October 28. It’s supposed to “transform the product position” and has six major upgrades and “a change in appearance.”
While the company didn’t say the exact models that compose the lineup, listings on China’s popular e-commerce platform, JD, show that there’s a Redmi Note 11 5G, a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, and a Redmi Note 11 Plus 5G. They’re apparently going to pack as much as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Pro and Pro Plus variants will be available in what seem to be purple, gray, and black colors, though the regular Pro has an additional gradient version.
We don’t know which model is shown in the launch teaser. The smartphone seen there features a quad-camera setup on the back, a punch-hole screen, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster, a microphone, and a speaker tuned by JBL. The volume and power keys can be seen as well.

Recent leaks claim that the Redmi Note 11 5G’s key specs include 50-megapixel rear and 16-megapixel front shooters, a 120Hz LCD display, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast charging, and a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. Allegedly, it will be priced from ¥1,199 (around P9,515 in Philippine pesos and $188 in U.S. dollars).
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, on the other hand, is said to come with a 108-megapixel main rear sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, a 120Hz OLED screen, a battery rated at 5,000mAh and can do a maximum of 67-watt quick charging, and a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip. The price will supposedly start at ¥1,599 (P12,691 or $250).
