This is it. Vivo, one of the top smartphone companies in the world, has confirmed that its next flagship lineup will debut soon.

(Update, September 10: The Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro Plus have gone official!)

According to a post it shared with its followers on Chinese social media platform Weibo, the Vivo X70 series will be launched in China September 9. What’s more, the brand showed how the Vivo X70 Pro Plus looks.

As you can see in the teaser video below, the high-end model gets the same faux-leather treatment as some of the previous premium X series phones. But the design is now different. Our eyes are glued to the rear module, where there are four cameras in an L-shaped arrangement, including a periscope one.

You can clearly see the Zeiss T* branding, similar to that on the Sony Xperia 1 II smartphone. Zeiss T* is actually an anti-reflective coating that the German optics manufacturer says can “enhance the quality of images and deliver the best photography experience to consumers.”

The glass part is extended to the right part, letting it occupy almost the whole upper-half area of the Vivo X70 Pro Plus’ back panel. That side shows the name of the unit and the Vivo-Zeiss collaboration.

According to reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, popularly known as OnLeaks, the device is equipped with a 6.7-inch curved screen with super-thin bezels, a punch-hole cutout, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Google Play Console, on the other hand, reveals that the front panel is Full HD+, the chip is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 (or Snapdragon 888 Plus?), and the amount of RAM is 8GB, though there could be a higher option.

Besides the top-of-the-line Vivo X70 Pro Plus, the lineup is also expected to include the Vivo X70, Vivo X70t, and Vivo X70 Pro. They will all arrive with the company’s in-house ISP .
