Two days ago, we reported that the listing of the Samsung Galaxy A03s is already up on the company’s Philippine online store. We had no idea of its price back then. But some members of the sales team have finally started posting about the phone.

All the posts show the same information: that the Galaxy A03s with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at P5,990 (roughly $120) in the country. That’s P1,000 ($20) cheaper than the P6,990 ($140) Galaxy A02s with a similar memory configuration.
If you think about it, the Galaxy A03s and A02s are essentially the same Samsung smartphone. The difference? The newer model is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chip, and the other uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The rest of the specs are alike, from the 6.5-inch screen and the big battery that is rated at 5,000mAh to the 13-megapixel triple rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
