Infinix just announced one of its most hotly anticipated smartphones for the local market. Starting tomorrow, June 15, you can buy the Infinix Hot 10S in the Philippines from the brand’s official store on Shopee.

Impressively, the base Hot 10S with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at only P5,990 (roughly $125 converted), while the 6GB/128GB version costs P6,990 ($146). You can also get it for cheaper for a limited time during the Infinix Super Brand Days from June 15 to June 18 on Shopee, where customers can score a sweet P500 ($10) discount on both variants.

Unboxing: What you’ll find inside the Infinix Hot 10S retail box besides the phone itself
For under P7,000 ($146), you’d be hard-pressed to find a better value in the Philippines. The Infinix Hot 10S comes with a 6.82-inch HD+ screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch-sampling rate, both of which should make for a better experience particularly when gaming.
A higher refresh rate makes for a smoother user interface, while a faster touch response reduces input lag, which is vital for those playing MOBAs like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and League of Legends: Wild Rift and online shooters. As many of you know, an unresponsive touchscreen may be your worst enemy of all during gameplay.
At the back, the Hot 10S is equipped with a physical fingerprint reader and a pleasingly sharp 48-megapixel camera alongside a secondary 2-megapixel sensor and an AI lens. It also includes a Super Nightscape feature for brighter pictures in low light.

For long-lasting battery life, the Hot 10S packs a massive 6,000mAh cell, which Infinix says is capable of providing up to 182 hours of music playback, 17.3 hours of gaming, or 76 hours of calling time on a single charge. It boasts safe-charge technology as well, ensuring that power is automatically turned off once the device is fully charged to avoid overheating and wasting energy. You can extend the battery life further by switching to Ultra Power Mode at about 5% of the battery’s capacity, and this should be enough for an extra 3.5 hours of calling.
Last but certainly not the least, the Infinix Hot 10S runs the latest Android 11 operating system on an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with two Cortex-A75 operating up to 2GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. A proven performer, the Helio G85 is one of the best options available at this price range; it delivers reasonable frame rates in demanding games.
Software-wise, you also have Infinix’s proprietary Dar-link game booster, which improves graphics and touchscreen sensitivity and intelligently adjusts the operating speeds of the CPU and GPU to improve performance in different gaming scenarios.
