Vivo‘s gaming-focused sub-brand today announced two smartphones for the Indian market, a year after it debuted the iQOO 3 in the subcontinent. Say hello (again) to the iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend. The former is a rebadged iQOO Neo 5, while the iQOO 7 Legend edition is designed in partnership with BMW M Motorsport racing and boasts slightly different specs than the iQOO 7 that launched in China earlier this year.
Vivo’s iQOO 7 series has the following price tags in India:
- iQOO 7
- 8GB/128GB: ₹31,990 (around P20,657 or $427)
- 8GB/256GB: ₹33,990 (P21,948 or $454)
- 12GB/256GB: ₹35,990 (P23,240 or $481)
- iQOO 7 Legend
- 8GB/128GB: ₹39,990 (P25,823 or $534 )
- 12GB/256GB: ₹43,990 (P28,405 or $588)
Preorders in India begin May 1 on Amazon and iQOO’s website. There’s no word on its release in other countries, much less the Philippines, where the brand is not available (yet).
The iQOO 7 Legend includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 under the hood, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It also gets a 6,000 sq. mm graphite layer that covers the entire liquid-cooling chamber for better sustained peak performance. The Legend variant runs OriginOS for iQOO based on Android 11 out of the box. It also comes with a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
At the back, you get a triple-camera system with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 sensor, plus a pair of 13-megapixel shooters with ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. The selfie camera is 16 megapixels and sits inside a punch hole. For keeping the lights on, the Vivo iQOO 7 Legend packs a rather unimpressive 4,000mAh battery backup; thankfully, 66-watt fast charging is onboard, allowing you to quickly top up the phone when needed.
The future of extreme performance, ultra gaming & superior photography is here!

The vanilla iQOO 7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, making it less powerful than its Snapdragon 888-based stablemate. It should offer better thermal performance, though, which means less throttling and more consistent performance across the board. It also has a bigger 4,400mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 66 watts. Vivo says the iQOO 7 can be recharged from flat to full in just 30 minutes.
The smartphone gets a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh as well. On the imaging front, the standard model has a 48-megapixel primary camera, in addition to secondary 13- and 2-megapixel shooters for taking ultra-wide and monochrome shots.
