Xiaomi is on a roll. After launching the latest additions to the Mi 11 series recently, including the Mi 11 Lite, the Mi 11i, and the world’s best smartphone camera according to Dxomark in the Mi 11 Ultra, the company today announced it will debut a limited-edition smartphone to celebrate this year’s Mi Fan Festival or MFF.
(Update, April 6: Here‘s a list of discounted Xiaomi items you can score at the Mi Fan Festival 2021 in the Philippines!)
Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 10 Pro MFF Special Edition under the slogan “Explore Infinite Possibilities.” The phone will ship in a different, more theme-friendly packaging with a cosmic-inspired design on the outside and includes an exclusive Mi Fan Festival theme sticker, which could be applied to your phone, laptop, or suitcase. The rest of the package seems to be fairly similar, while the hardware itself takes the Gradient Bronze color option of the vanilla Redmi Note 10 Pro and incorporates the MFF 2021 icon on the rear.
We don’t know how many Redmi Note 10 Pro MFF Special Edition Xiaomi will offer in the Philippines — and how much each one costs. Nevertheless, we did reach out to Xiaomi Philippines for the local price and availability details; we’ll update this post with more information as soon as it becomes available.
In case you’re curious, the global pricing for the standard Redmi Note 10 Pro is as follows:
- 6GB/64GB: $279 (around P13,539)
- 6GB/128GB: $299 (P14,509)
- 8GB/128GB: $329 (P15,965)
The Redmi Note 10 Pro is the most premium model in the Redmi Note 10 series, but it lacks 5G connectivity for super-fast data where available. It does carry a 108-megapixel Samsung Isocell HM2 image sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning for better low-light performance, alongside dedicated lenses for ultra-wide, macro, and portrait photography. The megapixel count here is the highest of any Redmi handset to date.
