Globally, OPPO is launching the Find X3 series phones in a few days — on March 11, specifically. In a few countries, it’s expected to announce several handsets as well.

In fact, the OPPO A94 has gone officially official in the United Arab Emirates. The model is on the company’s UAE website, albeit without a price tag. But a quick search shows the new A series smartphone costs د.إ1,099. That’s around P14,560 in Philippine pesos and $299 in U.S. dollars. Preorders started two weeks ago, and it became available yesterday, March 5. This is just one of the listings we found online. Below is also another one.
Camera-wise, the OPPO A94 boasts a 48-megapixel quad sensor on the back and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter and packs features such as AI Color Portrait Video and Dual-View Video. It comes with a 4,310mAh battery that supports 30 watts of fast charging, a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole screen, and Android 11 layered with ColorOS 11. A MediaTek Helio P95 chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Now, if all of those sound familiar, it’s because the OPPO A94 is actually the OPPO Reno5 F — just with a different name. We wonder then what it will be called in the Philippines, if and when it’s going to be released locally, of course. Will it be part of the A series, or will it be a member of the Reno family?
