Today’s the day! One of Vivo‘s latest Y series phones has gone official in the Philippines.

Priced at P12,999 (roughly $270 converted), the Vivo Y31 is now being sold at Vivo shops and authorized resellers nationwide. You may buy it from the brand’s own platform or any of Vivo’s official stores on e-commerce sites Lazada and Shopee, too. The company will throw in a free 10,000mAh powerbank and premium Bluetooth earphones if you get the unit anytime between February 6 and February 12.

Vivo announces the Y31’s availability in the Philippines

Some of the main highlights of the Vivo Y31 are a 48-megapixel triple rear camera, a 5,000mAh battery that can be quickly charged via USB-C, and Android 11 topped with the manufacturer’s FunTouch OS user interface. The storage is generous at 128GB, with an equally ample RAM at 8GB. They’re paired with an 11nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip.

Other features of the phone include a screen that measures 6.58 inches diagonally, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which we prefer because it’s easier to reach than when placed on the back panel. Of course, it helps that that the device is a beauty, with a camera module reminiscent to that of the Vivo X50 Pro 5G.

Our review of the Vivo Y31 — full of images — should have been up by now, but we’re having internet-connection issues. Don’t worry, we’ll update this article as soon as we finally get to upload the accompanying pictures and eventually post the writeup.
