Just a day after Vivo announced the X60 Pro Plus’ January 21 launch date in China, the company’s local arm teased the X60 lineup’s arrival in the Philippines. According to Vivo Philippines’ latest post on social media, the Vivo X60 series is “coming soon.”
Though the post doesn’t mention any particular model, its timing, the mention of the Zeiss branding, and (partial) camera module of the phone featured in the teaser image can all be attributed to the imminent local launch of Vivo’s latest flagship series. Not to mention, Vivo Philippines previously confirmed the release of the X60 and X60 Pro (plus the Y31) in the country.

Hello, Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro?
We’re not sure about the Vivo X60 Pro Plus, though. Its predecessor in the X50 family, the X50 Pro Plus, didn’t launch in the Philippines, and neither the Vivo X50 or X50 Pro 5G is currently being offered by Globe Telecom or Smart Communications. It’s likely that the X60 and X60 Pro will only be offered at local retail once released.
In China, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are priced as follows:
- Vivo X60
- 8GB + 128GB: ¥3,498 (roughly P25,730 or $536 converted)
- 8GB + 256GB: ¥3,798 (P27,937 or $582)
- 12GB + 256GB: ¥3,998 (P29,408 or $612)
- Vivo X60 Pro
- 12GB + 256GB: ¥4,498 (P33,089 or $689)
Both smartphones share a Samsung Exynos 1080 processor, which is the company’s first 5nm chip and share a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 image sensor in the main camera, alongside an improved second-generation micro-gimbal system and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The X60 series also debuts Vivo’s newest Android 11-based OriginOS, which succeeds Funtouch OS and introduces a bunch of fresh visual elements, including redesigned icons, widgets, and notifications. They are equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ screen that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 240Hz touch sampling.
